A very scenic local state park that has a beach on Deep Creek Lake, and also is the most common put in location for boats and kayaks. It also has a small trail system for some easy hiking, but most people enjoy this park for the lake access.

Offering a sandy beach for swimming, kayak rentals, playgrounds, fishing from the shoreline and miles of hiking trails, it is a definite must. Also, the Discover Center is great for kids. It has nature exhibits and hands-on activities as well as an aviary you can tour.
