A very scenic local state park that has a beach on Deep Creek Lake, and also is the most common put in location for boats and kayaks. It also has a small trail system for some easy hiking, but most people enjoy this park for the lake access.

Deep Creek Lake State Park offers a small beach area, playground and basketball hoop for a small entrance fee.

The State Park has a boat launch (@$20) and a park entrance fee of $5 per person. You can fish, kayak, swim, hike or picnic.

Enjoy some hiking trails or just relax the day away at the park beach, where you can take a swim or grill some food at the picnic areas. If you have a boat there is a boat launch ramp you can use for just $10 dollars or use your Maryland state park pass, if you own one. We visit the park at least twice a week to walk around and let our dog take a swim. I think you will love the park as much as we do.
