Black Diamond by the water is the new buidling of the royal library. You can get in for free.
The Black Diamond is the largest library in the Nordic region, and among the largest libraries in the world.
One of my favorite places in the city: enjoy the Black Diamond from outside, visit one of the exhibitions, walk through the old Royal Librabry and finish with a short walk in the nice garden.
Scandinavia's largest library consists of two very distinct parts: the original 19th-century red-brick building and the head-turning 'Black Diamond' extension, the latter a leaning parallelogram of sleek black granite and smoke-coloured glass. From the soaring, harbour-fronting atrium, an escalator…
The royal library is an amazing piece of architecture and definitely worth a visit both from inside and outside. It merges the traditional old part of the library with a modern building right by the water. Enjoy the amazing views from the top floor and explore the area a little.
The Royal Danish Library and its beatuful garden right opposite the Danish Parlament is worth a visit. Especialley is the old library garden is a small and quiet paradise for having a quiet moment in the city.

“There's the queen's castle, but then there's also a pretty garden facing towards the water which is a great place for a stroll and free for all.”

“The reputation is well-earned. It is a Copenhagen cliché, but don’t let that turn you off the world’s second oldest theme park. You’ll find a whole host of rides and traditional games, plus live theatre and a beautiful Japanese garden.”

“The Danish National Gallery. A wonderful and magnificent museum for 700 years of art. From old italian renaissance art to the French modern or european contemporary. The museum is close to the metrostation called " Nørreport". The museum has a lovely cafe as well called " Kafeteria".”

“A very popular park for both Copenhageners and turist. many locals use the park as a quiet detour or walk through while on their way also. Rosenborg Castle Gardens (Danish: Kongens Have literally The King's Garden) is the oldest and most visited park in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in the early 17th century as the private gardens of King Christian IV's Rosenborg Castle, the park also contains several other historical buildings, including Rosenborg Barracks, home to the Royal Guards, as well as a high number of statues and monuments. The park also plays host to temporary art exhibitions and other events such as concerts throughout the summer. ”
