18 miles of pebbly Jurassic coastline, good for fishing and beachcombing but not for swimming.

Fantastic views like this from the top of Portland, about 40mins drive to the top from the bungalow.

Chesil Beach is a stunning natural shingle "tombolo" which connects Portland with the mainland. 18 miles long, it ends at West Bay. The setting for Ian McEwan's book (and film) of the same name. Part of the Jurassic coast, a World Heritage site

Miles and miles of wilderness - sandy bar with no houses on it - facing South West so expect crashing waves with Westerly winds. Nature reserve, and next to Jurassic coast.
