This is on top 3 must visit in Norway. Below the Rock it is almost 1000 m vertically down to shoreline of the fjord. easy 2 hours walk from car. 1 our drive from the cabin. I will not recomend walking into the rock. Lots of people do, but it is dangerous. I have never been on the rock. If you…
Few hours drive and few hours hike but promise will be kept, its a unique place to stand over deeeeep Canyon.
Visit the famous Kjerag boulder and venture onto it if you dare! Approx 2,5 hr drive from the flat.
Quite tuff hiking as next step after Pulpit-rock distance and elevation is more than double of pulpit rock !! God shoes required !!

“Let's go to the mall! One of the biggest in Norway (but maybe not so impressive compared to the average city in the rest of the world)”

“The three swords at Møllebukta in Stavanger's quarter of Madla is built to commemorate the battle of Hafrsfjord. The fjord is around 9 kilometres long, and is a so-called threshold fjord. It was at this fjord where 11000 Vikings fought in the Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872 AD, when Harald Fairhair managed to unite Norway in one kingdom. ”
