This museum opened its doors on February 29, 2000 is forty years after the destruction of Agadir. It houses collector coins related to Amazigh culture and traditions, with more than 900 exhibits. The treasure room, meanwhile, keeps a centerpiece, the emblem of the museum, "The collar of Massa". The museum also aims to present the traditions as well as the everyday life of the Amazigh. He thus exposes carpets, potteries, old manuscripts but also some techniques used in the manufacture of the jewels and the tools used by the craftsmen. Various activities are sometimes held there as well as temporary exhibitions

One of my favourite spots in Agadir. Easy to find in the pedestrian area, the museum is not big but has a lot of very interesting artefacts
