This public house, dating from the late-18th century and retaining much of its original character, can be found off the High Street near the Steeple via one of the vennels. The wood-panelled bar is furnished in traditional style with plenty of interesting features from the past. Guest beers come from micro-breweries in Scotland and England, with two on offer mid-week and three at the weekend. A must-visit venue. Tea, coffee and snacks served daily.

A nice, snug bar with friendly locals. Real ale bar (Camra). Cottage style bar dating from 17th century. Enjoy a drink in the evening or pop in after sampling lunch at Tea Jenny, which is round the corner. Don't forget to follow the Falkirk Heritage Trail, to learn the history of the town.
