This is a lovely place for kids. Please check their website for special events and to make sure that they are open.
The tour guides are dressed in historic costumes and lead you on a guided tour of the farm describing what daily life was like on a farm in the 1800’s. (Fun Fact: I worked as a tour guide at Quiet Valley in high school!)
Unique and historical, with lots of fun learning days and festivals. This is a 20 minute drive from our Airbnb.
Quiet Valley Farm is a historic working farm that is operated as an open-air museum. Open seasonally, costumed interpreters operate the farm and explain family life from the 1760s to 1913.
Very cool place, I actually got yelled at here. (ill tell you the story if you want) Historic working farm that is very cool.

“Kick your feet up and let these expert tour guides chauffeur you through the Delaware Water Gap. These guys will teach you about the Native tribes who first inhabited the region as well as the early American settlers.”

“In case the Urban part of the name was missed, this winery is located in the heart of Stroudsburg, not in the country side of the town. Nevertheless you may enjoy visiting it. ”

“In 1985 the Callie family expanded the business into the wide world of pretzels. Located just 3 miles south of the candy store, Callie’s Pretzel Factory takes the art of pretzel-making to a new level. Soft pretzels come on sticks, wrapped around hotdogs, and are transformed into pizzas. The list goes on and on. If you can imagine it – we can make it. Visitor’s tip: The best time to see pretzels being made is first thing in the morning. 7 days a week | 10 AM – 5 PM”

“Green Italian fare. Family style restaurant. Generous Portions. Franks (everything) pizza and veal piccata are my personal favorites. Relatively inexpensive. ”
