The most beautiful area for hiking in the Huachucas is Ramsey Canyon. You can explore and enjoy the preserve, which is always packed with wildlife. Or take Hamburg trail up into the Huachucas from there. The parking lot at Ramsey Canyon closes, so make sure you are down from hiking before they shut the gate.

Year-round water in this section of Ramsey Creek. Lots of shade from big Sycamore trees. Birding is good during migration periods.
