After a hike of 30 to 1 hour (depending on how fast you walk), you will end up on a rocky beach formed by sand stone. The historical salt pans have now build up a reef which is nice for snorkeling. Also, you can swim to St. Pauls island as it is only a stone through away.
Visible from Bugibba, it is said that St Paul landed on these islands almost 2000 years ago. The are uninhabited and the only structure is a statute of St Paul.
Visit this tiny island which is dedicated to the St. Paul after his shipwreck in AD60
