St Catherine's Hill is a short walk from the centre of Winchester. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and has a good path around the river. You can chose to walk up the hill to see the amazing views of Winchester or do a nice walk along the river. There is also a cafe (HandleBar cafe).

A wonderful country walk along the famous watermeadows at the base of St Catherine's Hill. Great for dog walks, a stroll with the family, running or cycling and much more.

the start of the South Downs. It is a wonderful 4 km (2.5 miles) walking loop with fabulous views over St Cross and Winchester.
