Balasa Church in Bucharest was built between 1881 - 1885 in neo-romantic style and Byzantine architectural plans drawn up by Alexandru Hristea Orăscu with Benesch and Carol Hartman and approved by André Lecomte du Noüy . It has a cross-shaped plan , plus polygonal apse of the altar. The church is a historical monument and is listed as historical monuments in Bucharest
