Good for steaks and Sunday Lunch. This is an hotel with a good restaurant and micro brewery. It is half way from Bowness to Kendal on the road past the golf club and well worth the trip

Our families favourite. It's some of the best food in the area, not touristy, frequented by locals. It's not the cheapest but hold them to high standards and expect good, satiating, local produce.

Amazing food in this gastro pub. If you want to push the boat out, their chateaubriand steak to share is delicious.
