The International Crane Foundation owned Bonnie Oaks prior to my tenure, for ten years, and studied sand hill cranes here in the wetlands when the cranes were rare in the state. They have a variety of cranes from all over the world, at their location near Baraboo. With humans having destroyed 2/3…
The foundation is the only one in the world to feature all 15 species of crane. Come take a guided tour of the cranes. Hike the nature trails and visit the nature themed gift shop.
