Best dine-in culinary experience in KW. A small restaurant literally in a red house located in uptown Waterloo. Perfect for a date night, a special occasion, business lunch/dinner, or if you just want to treat yourself! Very generous portions too.

As its name suggests, Red House is located in a red house in UpTown Waterloo that has been converted into an intimate, relaxed bistro restaurant. Featuring fresh food inspired by quality ingredients, the menu at Red House has dishes to appeal to all tastes. With an emphasis on supporting local, the menu changes daily to incorporate new and seasonal flavours. Fresh salads, inventive starters and entrées featuring beef, duck, curries, pastas and vegetarian dishes are all available. On Tuesdays, bring a friend and share delicious selections from the Tapas menu. Red House also has a kids menu, as well as a decadent dessert menu to finish off with. During the summer months, sit back and enjoy the view of UpTown Waterloo from the outdoor patio with seating for an additional 22 guests. The Red House provides professional hospitality and dining in an intimate setting. The crafted cocktails at Red House are house made and seasonally influenced. Craft beer enthusiasts will enjoy the local brews that are available on the Red House drink menu. There’s also a full wine list, with over 100 bottles to choose from.

A gem of a restaurant, owned and operated by a young Chef who offers a changing and eclectic menu. Seating is 'cozy' and limited, so it's best to make reservations when weather closes the outdoor patio. Service is quick and friendly. Everything on the Lunch and Dinner menus is fantastic, but especially recommend any of his Quiches and Curries.
