DON’T MISS THIS!!!!! Remarkable Rocks,The Remarkable Rocks are an icon of South Australia, one that many Australians could probably recognise if shown a picture. But it isn't until you're visit them yourself that you really understand what makes them special; the strangeness of their weathered shapes sitting on on a bare rock, surrounded by low scrub and little else. New boardwalks to rocks, easy walking

The enterance of Flinders Chase National Park is 25 minutes drive from Fides Lodge. The famous natural attractions including Admirals Arch and the Remarkable Rocks are within Flinders Chase National Park (approximately 20 minutes drive from the entry gate). There are boardwalks to access these sites, although a good level of mobility is required to get close to the Devils Marbles and Admirals Arch (there are steps to get to the mouth of Admirals Arch).

The Park has been closed due to the bush fires which began from lightening strikes, but have just opened for the school holidays, which is awesome news. My own family visited on the weekend, and although serverley damaged, it was great to see the Rocks and the Arch, and especially all the Long Nosed Furr Seals and their babies. View the iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Some walking involved. Allow at least hours return from the Rocky from the front gate entrance. Hiking trails are all closed.
