Travel straight to Circular Quay and then grab a ride to Manly , there are buses from Spit Junction but this is a short ride of fifteen minutes and then puts you at the doorstep of the city. Highly recommended.

Take a ferry to the zoo from central wharf. You will have a good view of opera house and Sydney bridge at a budget price.
