Bridge of Allan (BofA) is a former spa town at the foot of the Ochil Hills, located just a few miles north of Stirling. The mainly residential town nestles in wooded countryside below the Ochil Hills on Allan Water, a tributary to the River Forth. It's worth a visit for the range of small specialist shops, nice cafes and excellent fish and chip shop. Upper BofA has some pretty amazing residewntial properties perched on the hill.

Hop over to the neighbouring town of BOA (ancient spa town)- a longer walk (Darn walk), short drive, or one train stop and find out why BOA has been named the best small town in Scotland

Bridge of Allan is just a few minutes drive away and hosts an impressive array of beautiful architecture and attractions for a place so small! Some of the best places in Bridge of Allan are the eating and drinking places, there's loads to choose from.
