The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens (EMST) began its operation in 2000. Its permanent home is the former Fix brewery on Syngrou Ave., the reconstruction of which was completed in 2014. The building occupies 18.142 sqm. on a 3.123 sqm surface.

“ It is the largest Gallery of the country and is one of the living cells of the cultural movement in Athens. It consists of 117 paintings, recorded in 1878. “The National Garden is a public park of 15.5 hectares (38 acres) in the center of Αthens, behind the Greek Parliament building. The Royal Garden was commissioned by Queen Amalia in 1838 and completed by 1840. It was designed by the German agronomist Friedrich Schmidt who imported over 500 species of plants and a variety of animals including peacocks, ducks, and turtles.
