The historic Barnard General Store is across the road from stunning Silver Lake. Great sandwiches and breakfast items, sundries, wines and beers, and in summer the best ice cream and milkshakes!

Old school, tradition general store now operating as a coop/community initiative. Store is located about 25 minutes or approx. 12 miles from cabin. Gas, deli and food counter. Located on beautiful Silver Lake, Barnard General Store was established in 1832 and stands as one of the longest running General Stores. Open 7 – 7 but that may vary depending on season.
