"EL VIAJERO" restaurant and bar is situated over three stories in a classic nineteenth Century building, where the cozy and small rooftop garden on top is the prime spot to visit. It is the only rooftop bar in Madrid on this list, located in the Latina area of he city. "EL VIAJERO" (which btw means 'the Traveler') holds a full on restaurant on the ground floor, a second floor bar and on the third floor you get the best of both worlds. The kitchen on the terrace serves a nice selection of tapas and nibbles, along with crunchy pizzas with an Italian touch. The rooftop bar offers a wide selection of cocktails, where (of course) the mojito is a given favorite. Expect cool views over old town Madrid, a magical sunset accompanied with a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere. No reservations possible for the rooftop terrace, so be on time to be guaranteed a good spot.

Beautiful views from the top-floor terrace. Good tapas and grill meat. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants. Good music and good quality-price relationship.
