Long street with a variety of shops and restaurants, too. Nice walk if you are looking for some clothes at a non very expensive price

A neoclassical walk and courtyards to die for. The most influential and notable families of Milano decided to build their palaces in succession on the new Corso Venezia in the XVIII century. Majestic buildings spared from being bombed during WWII are still aligned on the Corso. Some are strictly private, some others can be rented for luxurious events. But for sure all of them have a gate that can tip passers for a glimpse. Beware that if some doormen are nice and welcoming, some others stick to the rule of keeping strangers beyond the entrance, so try your best to enjoy this walk keeping in mind that these are private places. Some institutional boards give few basic information about building name, architect and year of construction. From baroque to neoclassical, art nouveau to rationalism, Corso Venezia is an architectural tour that crosses centuries and styles within a few hundred yards. (MM1 San Babila/Palestro/Porta Venezia)
