It's where you get groceries if they don't have what you need at Stewart's! The prices aren't actually that bad for the location in the middle of nowhere...but the avocados are. Suggestion: if planning a meal that requires special produce items (and avocados count as special in Schroon), stop and do some grocery shopping in Glens Falls on your way in (or Plattsburgh if you're coming in from the north).

This will be the best local option if you're looking to pick up some basic groceries. You might find the prices here to be a touch higher than usual, but it's still the local "go-to" if you don't want to drive an hour!
