Castell Henllys is an important archaeological site in north Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the A487 road between Newport and Cardigan, in the parish of Nevern.
A great place to visit to get a feel for what life was like for the locals before tourism caught on!
Channel your inner Celtic Warrior! I always know when our visitors have been to Castell Henlly's, the kids come back with blue tribal face paint and in the meadows, everything becomes a bit ‘warrior’ and ‘tribes!’ They also tell me it is a brilliant fun day out!
Reconstructed Iron Age roundhouses on the original footings. Café, walks and interpretation centre.

“Younger kids will love it here...Wales’ only dedicated Shire Horse Farm visitor attraction! Based in Pembrokeshire’s Coastal National Park! Visit Dyfed Shires and meet our gentle giants on a traditional Welsh working farm as seen on TV’s ‘Escape to the Country’, ‘Farmers Country Showdown’ & ‘Ffermio’ to name a few.”
