Skansen is situated at the Royal Park of Djurgården and is a park that demonstrates how life in Sweden used to be. It also has an animal park showing the Swedish wild-life and fauna. One of my fav places in Stockholm with a beautiful view over the city as well. Don’t forget to try the local waffles…

DJURGÅRDEN - open-air museum with farms and Swedish-animals-zoo. Beautiful old houses brought from all around Sweden to Skansen and Swedish animals, like for example elks. Perfect to bring your own picknick and spend the day getting to know how Swedes did different labours back in the day.
