The Peconic River is peaceful with beautiful nature views along each shore. Canoes can be rented for the 5 to 7 mile trip to the mouth of the river at the Peconic Bay.

The peconic paddler had a great variety of paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks. Some great family fun. A lot of beautiful views to see and wildlife. It's definitely a must do if your in the riverhead area and have some time to kill.
