Blacksnake Meadery is a family owned & operated farm winery. It is Southwest Virginia’s only Meadery. Wines are made from honey & traditionally known as meads, highlighting the floral characteristics of honey, rather than its sweetness. Free tastings are offered on select weekends. The Blacksnake Meadery is approximately 10 miles from The Blue Ridge Parkway
