Woodchester Mansion is a 19th Century Victorian Gothic Masterpiece mysteriously abandoned mid-construction in 1873. Hidden in a secluded Cotswold valley, it is untouched by time and the modern world. This Grade 1 Listed Building has been saved from dereliction, but will never be completed.

Really lovely lakes and grounds for walking. People swim in it in the summer which is gorgeous although you're not really meant to.

A great day out to this unique unfinished mansion set in a hidden valley with grounds designed by Capability Brown. Great bike tracks and also features several lakes for those water loving dogs....

A labour of love that was never finished and now is a great example of Georgian building techniques. Lovely valley walks though woods and lakes.

Set in a beautiful valley, you could be forgiven for thinking this house is much older than it actually is. Open on certain days through the season, it is well worth a visit just to walk around if nothing else.

“Best for a light lunch, coffee and cake. You will find in the courtyard behind the apoartment. Say you are staying at David's Airbnb and get a 10% discount. If you need an earlier breakfast they just may be able to give you a croissant and coffee before they actually open!”

“Children love Cattle Country there is loads of indoor and outdoor play equipment for all ages as well as boats to row, farm animals (donkeys, sheep, rabbits, pigs...) and a splash pool for the kids to cool off in on hot days so you need to pack swimmers. There is a lovely cafe there but you can take your own picnic and picnic areas are available. ”

Proper golf attire is required to be worn, along with golf shoes and socks. ”
