Djurgården stems from the game park of King John III, Djurgården is home to historical buildings and monuments, museums, galleries, the amusement park Gröna Lund, the open-air museum Skansen, the small residential area Djurgårdsstaden, yacht harbors, and extensive stretches of forest and meadows.
Take the boat from Slussen to Djurgården and walk around in on the island. Here you have an Amusement Park called Gröna Lund and a lot of great Museums

The place to go. It has lots of museums and nice nature. Skansen, ABBA, Vasa, Junibacken, Vikingsliv,Nordiska are all there. In the summer Gröna Lund is also nice with kids.
