southern end of Main Sawtell beach has rock pools great for exploring, the central zone of the beach is where the surf lifesavers set up flags, theres a kiosk at the SLSC to buy coffee, brekkie and lunch; and the northern section is known as Murrays Beach

Great surfing location just 2 min drive away. Several different breaks to choose from. In front of Sawtell Surf Club, down south at the island or north at Murrays Beach. Also south side of the headland at lookout has good waves, locals call 'Southies'.

Go to the headland for speculator views of the ocean.There is an ocean pool. Great place to watch big waves when the seas are up
