A fascinating winery along 211 along the way to Skyline Drive. “The Gray Ghost” was the nickname given to John Singleton Mosby, a brilliant Confederate Cavalry Battalion Commander during the Civil War. He was cunning and daring and his tactics are still studied today. The winery is a museum of Civil War paintings and memorabilia dedicated to Mosby and his Rangers. If you like history and good wine, you will probably enjoy this winery.
