There is a lovely 70 minute or so walk around the head here at Dinas. There is a pub near the car park too. Newport itself which is a short drive away ha several good cafes and a great butcher.
If you park at Pwyllgwaelod you will have a choice of walks. You can follow the coastal path around Dinas Head a very satisfying circular walk that isn’t too long, or you can set off anti-clockwise and just walk a mile on the tarmac path to a pretty little beach at Cym-yr-Eglwys and enjoy an ice…
It’s an area in the North of Pembrokeshire with beautiful beaches and coastline.
My favourite circular walk in North Pembrokeshire which takes you around the coast and back to your car and a good pub!!

“Definite must if you’re visiting the Preseli Mountains. This quaint and quirky pub is very popular with locals who have saved its existence by selling shares to local people to keep it open. ”

“A pretty west-facing beach not far from the village of Dinas. Safe bathing and a nice sandy beach. A good starting / finishing point for walks around Dinas Island (which is not an island).”

“This is a henge you can go and touch , there are plenty of these megaliths in North Pembrokeshire, the original site of Stone Henge is not far from here ( bbc2 documentary) , yes the stone Henge in Salisbury was first erected in Pembrokeshire then some few hundred years later moved its second position, there are also several stone circles on the Preseli hills ”

“Ceibwr is a little cove with free parking, a stony beach and some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Wales. The Witches Cauldron, a short walk along the clifftop, is a gigantic collapsed cave.”
