The cavity develops inside Mount Meana, a massif made up of very ancient Dolomite rocks dating back to 530 million years ago. The cave, still in activity, was discovered by speleologists in 1971. The constant internal temperature is 16 degrees, with a humidity level close to 100%. They are about 75km from Quartu Sant'Elena

grotta di 530 milioni di anni fa con stalattiti, stalagmiti, colate e cannule fino alle rare eccentriche di aragonite. portare un golf e scarpe comode.
