Grandvalira is much larger than Vallnord, the other option in Andorra, stretching nearly 2/3 of the way across Andorra, all connected by slopes and lifts. It is just possible to make it from one end to the other and back in a day if you keep moving. A local company called Estiber runs affordable all-inclusive weekend trips from Barcelona.
