A general store that first expanded by going underground, and has now added a deli, coolers, and gas. They carry a good assortment of necessary and Vermont-style clothing, such as work boots, snow boots, mud boot, Carhartt workwear, gloves, hats, Darn Tough socks, and Kuhl clothing. They also still carry animal feed. Look for Rupert Rising and Earth Sky Time bread - never a bad choice. Also the site of the Dorset Summer Farmers Market on Sunday mornings.

This quaint rambling store has everything from chicken feeders to sturdy clothing to an ice cream counter. They have a huge assortment of craft beers and a delicious deli. Their sandwiches are delicious!

The H.N. Williams Store has been family-owned and operated since 1840. Offering loads of Vermont goodies including clothes, toys and games, specialty items, and even grocery goods, the store harkens back to the general store of the past. The store also includes a full-service deli called Rumney's and they just opened a coffee shop.

A visit to H N Williams is a must!! You will find anything and everything that you would ever need. Food, drink, clothing, hardware, animal feed, footwear, gas, you name it. The Dorset Farmers Market is also located on the property during the summer and early fall.
