it's 100-year old building, lovely restaurant, and most of all very good Thai food. There's some time you can smell the canal next to the building though but i think it's still worth to visit. The sell nice celadon pottery. They grow their own tea and you can find small nice shop up-stair too.

The most charming place for lunch or afternoon tea in all of Chiang Mai is undoubtedly Raming Tea House on Tha Pae Road. This teak mansion was built by a Chinese trader who moved to the city in the 1800s, the ornate arches and lattice work inside are delightful and, in the cooler months, the garden makes the perfect spot for tea and cakes. The tea and coffee served at Raming Tea House is locally sourced and ecologically friendly, and as you enter the premises you will find a shop selling beautiful earthenware dinner sets, tea pots and other ornaments.
