Great hike, a bit hard to find. Lots of wild water to see and hear.

McGeachie Conservation Area Trail is a 5.5 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Limerick, Ontario, Canada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, nature trips, and snowshoeing and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

There are two trails that allow you to see the chutes from both sides. Take the eastern trail to see all 3 chutes, the western trail is shorter but only allows you to see the first chutes. It is especially gorgeous in the winter time.

Egan Chutes Provincial Park is an awesome place to hike, swim or fish. Its an easy 1.5 km hike and offers great views of the York River.
