There is lots of free parking as well as three paid lots if you can't find a spot. Large parking lot at the north end of the campground and usually lots of free parking along the highway, further south, close to restaurant row, and ample parking at the south end of the lagoon in Cardiff. If you park here and walk south you may discover that you have an entire pristine beach all to yourself as few people go there.
