“Best and biggest sandwiches we've ever had. The salads are big enough to feed you for several meals so share. Actually, share the sandwich too or have several meals for the price of one.”

“One of the most picturesque campuses you'll ever see. Walk around, take pictures of the stone buildings, visit the art museum. There is a magnificent stone relief dating from the Assyrian Empire (Iraq) inside among other things.I dont know who stole it but there it is.”

“Nordic Skiing, Fatbiking and Snowshoeing a stone's throw away! Located at Middlebury's Breadload Campus, Rikert is one of Vermont's best nordic centers. The trails system is vast, well maintained and opens early!”

“Branbury is located on the eastern shore of Lake Dunmore at the base of Mt. Moosalamoo. The Green Mountain National Forest is its neighbor to the east. Historically, the 69-acre park operated as a farm at the turn of the century, then as a guest house, summer boy's camp and private beach and picnic area. In 1945, it became Branbury (Brandon-Salisbury) State Park. The 1,000 foot natural sandy beach, clean, clear Lake Dunmore, and the large open grassy areas make the area very popular for swimming, sunning, or picnicking.”

“A local favorite, prefect for kids or a lighter day. I rode here nearly everyday in the late 90s, and recently re-discovered it. And I feel back in love. The woods are wide open here, the trees are well spaced and the crew has done an excellent job of cleaning it out and marking terrain. Generally, it's quiet, with no lift lines. A much cheaper option to bigger mountains, but with all of smiles and hoots! For kids and families, this is maybe one of the greatest places to spend your ski-day! ”
