To cross the river for free into Indiana use the 2nd St bridge off Main Street, also known as the Clark Memorial Bridge. The new I- 65 bridge has a photo toll (they’ll mail you a Bill)
Falls of the Ohio State Park is a state park in Indiana. It is located on the banks of the Ohio River at Clarksville, Indiana, across from Louisville, Kentucky. The park is part of the Falls of the Ohio National Wildlife Conservation Area.
A nice park to visit, especially when it’s been very dry. You can walk out onto the fossil beds when the water is very low. (Take the Second Street bridge to avoid the I-65 toll bridge.) Park is free but there is an admission fee to walk through the Discovery Center.

“multiple locations but we like the one on Bardstown Road the best – dependable yummy fare at reasonable prices. Recommend the Bristol Burger with Skillet Fries, The Green Chili Wontons but everything is good. A Louisville institution. They also have late night dining.”
