People don’t realize the amazing and huge parks carved out all over NYC. Prospect park is one of the biggest and just up the street. There is a restaurant, botanical garden and lots of walking or biking paths to enjoy. There is even horse back riding available.
Take a walk through the meadows and paths, enjoy the lakeside or visit the food stalls on sundays
Our favorite park! It is huge and has many places to visit and chill. Close to the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Library and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
Fields of rolling green, a lake, a zoo and so much more. What else do you need in a park?! One of my favorite parks in New York.
We are only a 15 minute walk away from this historic and gorgeous park. Grab a coffee and bagel and enjoy morning sightseeing on a park bench or have a picnic in one of the many fields. If you happen to travel with pets, we love the huge crew of dogs that gather off leash for a weekend runaround.
The nearest off-leash field. Off-leash hours are 9pm - 9am. If you go - tell the other humans that you know Columbo & Anthony. You'll instantly make friends and feel like a true Brooklynite.
Brooklyn's flagship park less than a 20 minute ride away. Get greenery in the middle of Brooklyn, NY. Truly a mesmerizing experience to ride the bike paths with all of NYC cyclists, bladers and runners. Big open spaces and lovely paths for activities like baseball, volleyball, hiking, boating,…
This is considered “The Central Park of Brooklyn” by locals. This large park has expansive walking and biking trails along fields, woods, and a lake. This is a great place to enjoy a picnic and, in the summer, they have many free evening events like live music and movies on the lawn.
The lovely Prospect Park is a 10-15 minute walk from us and really gives a glimpse of Brooklyn life. Turn left on Ft. Hamilton and walk straight- you’ll run smack into the park. In the summer time there are non-stop events including free concerts, movies, and dance performances. In the winter there…
