Wonderful museum charting the history of the area through archeological finds, art, porcelain, lace, pottery and photograhs, highly recommended.

This often overlooked, little gem of a museum is really worth the while. Wonderfully presented and curated, each room follows a different time period in Bayeux's history. Part of the 3B museum plan, you can get a discount when you buy tickets in conjunction with the Tapestry and/or Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum. A wonderful rainy day activity, I can't recommend it enough!

Ce musée vient de rouvrir ses portes après des années de travaux avec 600 oeuvres d'art, 1000 pièces de porcelaine et de dentelle de Bayeux et 800 pièces archéologiques et ethnographiques
