A former Stagecoach Stop from the 1800s and a unique site Because of the Hand Dug Artesian Wells, this Establishment is Legendary in the Ranks of Adirondacks Restaurants throughout history. Located on a fork which constitutes the Adirondack Mountain Range Divides. The Southern Fork in the Road Leads to the Westernmost Region of the Adirondacks and the other road the North and the Eastern portions of the Park. I have never had a bad meal at OP Fredricks. They Feature Homemade food, an Upscale menu, a nice wine list as well as Highlighting a Wide Selection of Adirondack Brewed Craft Beers. There are Other Special touches like made in house Dressings and predominantly indigenous staff, many who have worked there for decades and take pride in their work,.It is also situated at the base of Beautiful Loon Lake. This place creates an Enchanted Evening for all who visit... The owner's Mike and Teresa have deep roots in the Local Law enforcement community and along with their staff are very welcoming to new visitors to our region. The Show First Class Adirondack Hospitality to all who stopover. This timeless Restaurant Proudly displays a working Telephone Booth outside of the front door, that mystifies children daily.
