Beautiful and interesting museum. Something for everyone....just the architecture alone is worth it.

A neat museum with a little bit of this and a little bit of that inside of a building with a rich history. There's also a cafe (Cafe Alcazar) located inside. Though we've never eaten there, we've heard good things

“Historic- the offer tours. Trail blazer Henry Flagler built this hotel for northerners to winter in the south. One of the first places to have electricity! There are beautiful Tiffany glass windows. And clean bathrooms(hard to find downtown). You can tour the inside and get more history. ”

“Learn about 500+ years of maritime history at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum. From the first, wooden, watch tower in the late 1500s to the current St. Augustine Light Station, built from 1871-1874, discover the importance of these aids-to-navigation.”

“This is a unique experience. The distillery tour is free and very interesting. It ends at the gift shop which offers complimentary tastings and a variety of items for purchase. The restaurant and bar are a perfect place to stop and enjoy a bite and a drink. All served by wait staff in period dress. Always a good place to stop on a hot day.”

“In St. Augustine's early days, St. George Street was the main street, and today the thoroughfare is still considered the heart of the city. Here, visitors find historic attractions and some of the restaurants, galleries, bakeries and shops for which the city is famous.”
