Epitome of Art Deco. Filmed many an Agatha Christie crime novel here. Website says non-resident guests are welcome to lunch on Sundays (£62) and to our black tie dinners every evening (£75).

Art Deco classic building, incredibly expensive to stay but very glamourous. Apparently inspired Agatha Christie.

Bar
“Outstandingly good food, it's our favourite inn by far and a 15 minute walk from the cottage (5 min drive). Does great ales, gins, wine and atmosphere (esp in the older part of the pub) - a 13th century village pub it recently won Devon Dining Pub of the Year. Bookings are essential during holiday times. ”

Lodging
“A friendly, lively pub which is dog friendly and with a beer garden. They host a "Thank Gin It Is Friday" event each week with a new gin paired with Fever Tree tonic and recommended garnish for £5, as well as live music throughout the month. Classic pub fare, not anything fancy. ”
