You can't miss the Citadelle if you come to Namur. You can walk from here, knowing it's "a bit" hilly. If you go walking, use the pedestrian bridge "l'enjambée" to get there. Once at the top, there are many ways you can take to have a nice walk with a beautiful view of the city and the Meuse river. There is a bar and restaurant within the Citadelle, so you can place on having a refreshment! Having a picnic with a view of Namur is a pretty good formula too! If you have kids, there is a fantastic playground on the very top (plaine Fabiola).
