Great trail system right in Golden, climb up to the classic rock outcropping looking over town. Little bit of a climb to get to the top of the mesa but then flat once you're up there.

Just our your door, hike up to the Castle Rock - head down the alley or East street to 19th, make a right and go two blocks to the trailhead. Start (or end) just to the north of the pink house.
