There are plenty of lovely trails in the nature reserve and by Velamsund. If you follow the road running behind the cabin to the right for an out 1km you will come Velamsund, with a small sandy beach and a playground. In the summer, there is a small café by the beach. There are facilities in a big red house by the beach and places to BBQ. By Insjön there is a small piece of land separating the Baltic sea on the one side and the lake on the other. By the sea is a small harbor for boats and a restaurant called “Långa raden” open mainly in the summers.

I Velamsund finns motionsspår, utegym och möjlighet att hyra kanot. Det finns även en lekplats och en badstrand och i hagarna finns hästar att titta på. Finns även en restaurang Lilla raden (ej besökt sedan nya ägare).
