Beautiful sandy beach, close to a lot of beach bars and restaurants. With a various choice of sun beds and umbrellas. Make sure you don’t go swimming there if it is too windy as the sand is really thin and you want be so comfortable while laying on the beach.

An amazing long beach for every taste parts of it are very well organised with sunbeds and beach bars and other parts carry still the character of the hippie age nudism and silence. There is enough place for everybody and it is worth a visit. Favourite ones Tohu bar, Cedar cafe and Picasso restaurant. The above are one almost next to the other one.

What used to be just a nudists' beach is now one of the most popular beaches of Naxos, retaining bits of its original character. It is still a favourite beach for nudists, who flock mostly off season but it also gathers families and couples, especially during high season, which “forces” the nudists to segregate off to the one end, towards the south of this long and splendid beach. Its main characteristic is the long and wide, white expanse of sand and the turquoise water.

Plaka is the longest and most beautiful beach on Naxos Island. It is several kilometers long with very soft and nearly white color sand.
