One of the ONLY FREE PUBLIC WATER FOUNTAINS on Gran Canaria is just around the corner from this lovely library that is worth taking a look in. Blink and you will miss the fountain that has ZERO for signage. It is SAD that it is almost 2020 and Gran Canaria has nothing for public water infrastructure in place. For the amount of renewable energy they capture and waste daily as they lack something to energize they could be desalinating and pumping clean water back into lakes, rivers streams everywhere. This island was once a lush natural paradise before the race to the Americas cut near every tree from the island. Please make the trek here and spread the word to call out Gran Canaria to do better. You help is appreciated as those of us who live here and those who visit would benefit greatly.
