Eldorado Canyon State Park

Gorgeous wildflowers in the right time of year and green, rolling hills with some altitude gain along the hike. A circle hike be in and out.
There is hiking available before you get to the Park at either Dowdy Draw, or at the Mesa Trail. The trailheads are across the street from each other, about two miles before Eldorado. Normally there is an artesian spring fed pool open until Labor Day.
Climbing, hiking and just hanging out by the river or the pool... getting fresh water are also great things to do!
Beautiful hiking, climbing, site-seeing, a 10 min car drive away. Park entry is $10.
Truly amazing hiking and majestic views. In the summer the spring fed pool is a great way to cool down.
